Kayaking became much more popular in Vang Vieng after the tubing was initially closed in 2012. Now, many people enjoy the different kayaking options available here.
You can choose from kayaking on the Nam Song with no extra add-ons or choose a combination tour.
Enjoy a simple half day of kayaking, or perhaps go tubing in Non Cave too. Or, combine kayaking with ziplining and caves.
This tour starts at 9am or 1pm and includes pick up from your hotel. You will be taken to the start point and given safety instructions before heading downstream.
Typically, you will stop at one of the restaurants along the Nam Song for a quick break and time to take a refreshment. Then it is off to Vang Vieng town. The tour typically involves 8km of kayaking although this can be shorter depending on the season and height of the river.
The tour is suitable for all skill levels, and you will be accompanied by guides at all times.
