There are two main options for booking a hot air balloon ride in Vang Vieng. One is the city flight which typically lasts around 30 minutes. And as you can probably guess, concentrates mainly on flying over the main town and the Nam Song river. This flight offers great aerial views of the town itself, and affords scenic views incluing the river and mountains.
As you fly over town you will be able to see kayakers and tubing on the river, as well as seeing Vang Vieng from a unique perspective.
The second option is very popular. This flight can last from 40 minutes to an hour and takes in areas that most visitors will never witness.
